Meeting
in Stan Allen's home offers an ideal atmosphere for this group. Stan's
collection of Asian art is highly conducive to meditation and the
discussion of Buddhist teachings. We have all experienced the
dynamic effect of the flow of energy produced by our group meditation.

UU Job Group meets the 1st, 3rd and 5th
Tuesdays of the Month at 6:00 pm
. We are a very constructive support
group for the unemployed and underemployed. So, if you are looking for a job
or have a job that really doesn’t move you toward your goals, do join us.
We network, revise resumes, sharpen job search skills, laugh, get creative
and find new energy for our job searches. All of this with the support of
community contacts through the UUFNB fellowship and the greater community.

The Mindful Eating discussion/support
group meets at UUFNB, Wednesdays, 1:30- 3:00 pm.
Participants consider ways to make food and behavior choices that are good
for the individual in terms of health and well-being. This includes learning
to take only what is needed in our culture of overabundance. We also
consider the impact of eating behaviors and the food industry on other
aspects of life.

meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm
as well as the 2nd Sunday Our
intention is to keep this as a lighter food/snack kind of gathering,

Potluck at the Fellowship meets on the fourth
Saturday of each month
for supper at the Fellowship. This is an
excellent way to get to know other UU's on an informal, one-on-one basis.
No need to sign up, just come with a dish to share. Drinks and utensils
are provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own plates and cutlery
to save the plastics. Guests are welcome.

Oriental Glee and Perlue Society meets for potluck and
discussion on occasional Sundays, once a month during the season. Contact Ilona

UU’s Women’s Group meets on the 2nd Sunday
of the month at 4:00 pm as
well as the 4th Wednesday. This is a covered dish/potluck gathering, usually
lasting until about 7:00 pm. Expect intelligent, confidential conversation
and the opportunity to share your personal and societal concerns and get
very relevant feedback. Oh, and please expect to laugh. Our goal, at this
